In an effort to provide a positive experience for all, the AFRAM Baltimore Festival is a fully accessible event and the following information is designed for everyone to get the full experience. Please direct any specific questions to afram@baltimorecity.gov
MDOT Mta
PLEASE Note: The Mondawmin MetroLink parking lot is closed due to construction. We strongly encourage attendees to use transit or rideshare to mondawmin and take our shuttle directly to the park. The closest MDOT MTA Bus Lines to the Mondawmin Station are LocalLinks 22, 26, 29, 79, 82, 85, 91, and CityLinks Navy, Yellow and Lime. Take the Light RailLink to Cultural Center Station on Howard Street, then transfer to the CityLink Lime, or Yellow, Line Bus on North Eutaw Street.

From Washington D.C. can use public transportation to get to the AFRAM Festival by taking the MARC Train weekend service to Penn Station. Exit Penn Station onto St. Paul Street, walk two blocks south to bus stop, at Preston Street to board the CityLink Yellow or Lime Line. Check the website www.mta.maryland.gov/marc-train for complete schedule listings. Use your CharmCard®, MDOT MTA Monthly Pass, Weekly Pass or purchase an MDOT
MTA Day Pass or round-trip ticket at the start of your trip to the AFRAM. MDOT MTA services are accessible for individuals with disabilities. Driving and Parking
Parking is available in the park at limited locations (first come first serve). Street parking is available in surrounding neighborhoods.
To park in an ADA parking space, vehicle must have valid government issued disability placard/plate clearly presented in vehicle.
Bike Parking
Free parking is available at bike racks located near the Baltimore City Department Recreation and Parks Administration Building located at 3001 East Drive. AFRAM Festival is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Wheelchair Accessibilty
The venue will be on a grassy field with minimum paths navigable for people in wheelchairs.
ADA Seating
The venue will designate spaces on the festival site available for persons with disabilities.
Accessible eating areas
Picnic tables will be located throughout the festival site.
ATM Information
ATMs are located on Red Road above the Bowl Area.

Service Animals
Service Animals are allowed at the event. Service animals must be under the control of their owner, on a leash, and alongside of its owner at all times. Disruptive or dangerous animals and their owners will be asked to leave the site.
Other Items
• First Aid/Medical Assistance will be located in the City Services Command Center (left of the stage on the soccer field.)
• Medics are roaming throughout the festival site to assist with issues. All emergency situations should be directed to 911.
• The festival does not provide wheelchair rentals. There is not an area to store medications.
• Please note: The festival site is very crowded and difficult to maneuver. Festival-goers should know how to operate their mobility devices in a safe and courteous manner.
