  • The AFRAM Festival is a celebration of African American life, music and culture. This family-oriented event is filled with entertainers, children’s activities, arts, history, education, health & wellness and more. The Baltimore AFRAM Festival is presented by Baltimore City Recreation & Parks.

  • EVERYONE! AFRAM is a FREE family-friendly event. We have FUN available for everyone on the footprint.

  • Want to vend, volunteer, or be a community act visit the "Get Involved" section of this website!

  • AFRAM is FREE.99 to the public. No tickets are necessary to get in on all of the fun!

  • AFRAM is rain or shine! However, if the National Weather Service issues an inclement weather warning within the festival area, an announcement will be made. All activites will conclude until the warning has lifted.

  • Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their personal items in a clear or mesh bag.

  • We want our #AFRAMILY to be festival ready. Please review the following list to comply with our standards for a positive festival experience:

    - Blankets

    - Hats

    - Lawn chairs

    - Suncreen

    - Sunglasses

    - Pets-- yes, as long as they are on a leash

  • To ensure your safety, the following items and activities are prohibited:

    - Alcohol

    - Smoking

    - Coolers or ice chests

    - Glass containers

    - Weapons of any kind

    - Lighters

    - Grills

    - Personal radios

    - Drones

    - Unauthorized retail items

    Please note that all personal items are subject to search.

  • We will have EMS onsite, view our sitemap for the specific location. Also, Baltimore Police and Baltimore Fire will be onsite.

  • Yes, parking will be available to the public, while space is available. Spaces are limited and use of transit options is highly recommended. See all of our transportation info [here][3].

  • AFRAM is an event accessible to all. For information on specific ADA or interpretive resources see our ADA page [here][4].

  • The use of public transit is highly recommended. Additionally, designated rideshare drop-off points are provided. Visit our transportation page for more details [here][4].

  • We encourage everyone to come on site with preferred payment option of either cash or debit/credit. We will also have ATMs on site to use.
